Get started with Browser

To monitor video player performance in your browser application, install the New Relic video agent using npm or a JavaScript snippet.

Prerequisites

Before installing the Streaming Video & Ads agent for Browser, verify your application meets these requirements:

Install the agent

Access New Relic

Go to one.newrelic.com > Integrations & Agents and navigate to the integrations marketplace.

Select Streaming Video & Ads

Search and select the Streaming Video & Ads tile.

Select account

Select an Account from the dropdown and click Continue.

Select platform

Select Browser and click Continue.

Select video player

Select your video player and click Continue.

Choose installation method

Install using npm

Install the video agent package manager for JavaScript applications.

Place a JavaScript snippet in frontend code

Install the video agent by including a JavaScript code snippet in your application.
